On November 15, 2012, TCNJ will host a Food Forum titled, Does What We Eat Matter? with panelists from Terhune Orchards, the NJ Partnership for Healthy Kids, Fernbrook Farm and Cherry Grove Farm. The forum has been put together based on several Freshman Seminar Program courses including “Does What we Eat Matter?,” taught by Professor Thomas Hagedorn; “World on a Plate an American Table,” taught by Professor Sarah Kern; “Environmental Justice,” taught by Professor Michael Nordquist; and “Literature Saves the Earth,” taught by Professor Larry McCauley.
The critical conversation forum will take place at 6:30pm in the New Education Building, Room 115.
The forum is sponsored by the First Seminar Program, the Bonner Center for Civic and Community Engagement and the Presiden’t Climate Commitment Committee.
