Reduce for Good Use – May 8-9, 2013

PC3 and the Bonner Center are hosting the third annual “Reduce for Good Use” campaign to promote the recycling of unwanted items by students at the end of the semester as they leave TCNJ campus dorms and off campus housing.

The Rescue Mission of Trenton will be collecting unwanted and re-usable donations for their restore. Items that will be collected include clothing, furniture, electronics, kitchenware, and non-perishable food. All proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission of Trenton, which provides services the homeless population in the

Trenton area. By collecting and donating unwanted items from students as they prepare for summer vacation, “Reduce for Good Use” will also decrease the expenses associated with trash bulk pick-ups at The College of New Jersey.
Pick-ups will be on a request basis on Wednesday 5/8 and Thursday 5/9. Please call 609-771-2548 any time between 12-8pm and we will pick up your donations!

On Friday 5/10, we will provide trucks from the Rescue Mission and volunteers available at certain places (TBA) on campus to help you donate from 11am-5pm.
